T or TT and maybe an S

There are a few of problems with "Women's groups outraged over sexual assault comments" on CBC News online on March 2, 2011. First, the word there should be between confirmed and have. "East Hasting Street" is actually East Hastings Street. Then,

the church's minister is introduced to readers as Ric Mathews, but, after that initial spelling of Mathews,

Ric's last name is double-T Matthews for the rest of the article. Plus, the writer doesn't know where to put a possessive apostrophe when the last name ends with S. The last name isn't Matthew. Actually, I'm not so sure it isn't. Based on this article, Ric's last name could be Mathews, Matthews, or Matthew. Quality writing, CBC. Click an image to enlarge it.
